Hey there,
My name is Joe Cox and I’m a cybersecurity / systems engineer — I do the kind of work where uptime, identity, and a hardened Microsoft 365 tenant are the difference between a good week and a terrible month. I founded Pinnacle IT in 2021 to help businesses and government entities keep their uptime high and cyber incidents unlikely.
What I write about
My life surrounds four major domains, and this space is where they collide:
- Technology — AI, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, how to think about systems that are changing under our feet.
- Music — I play piano, so I make a lot of music. Some of what ends up here is about that. I think quite often about why it matters for humans to keep making things.
- Personal development — faith, entrepreneurship, mindset. The stuff that holds a person together when the ground shifts. I think limiting beliefs is the greatest threat to humans reaching their ideal state.
- Family — the fabric where societies and people groups in all of history best thrive.
